As Breath Underwater Up To 30 Minutes
In water sports such as surf peru is very important to train our lung capacity to endure as long as possible under water if necessary. A good ability to withstand underwater can help us when the waves are very large and may even save your life if the romp of a wave is very long and very strong current.
Last year we met a scientific breakthrough that can help us, when the technique is fully developed, to survive a long dive. A team of doctors and scientists from the Department of Cardiology at Children's Hospital Boston, led by Dr. John Kheir, have created a microparticle, injected into the blood stream allows us to hold up to 30 minutes without breathing. These microparticles are composed of packaging oxygen in a lipid, allowing more oxygen carrying red blood cells to normal.
This scientific breakthrough is yet to develop and do not know if they really become useful for surfers, but any progress that allows saving a life is welcome. Meanwhile, we can improve our lung capacity by performing breathing exercises and following a few tips: stay at your ideal weight, do not smoke, takes several deep breaths when you go to catch a wave and try to stay calm when you're under water, as the fear and nervousness makes consume more oxygen.
If you take these simple precautions you can put up a good time under water long enough to run no danger when a wave like a romp.
